Prototype

This 60x60 mixed media painting was created in honor of all mothers. Prototype speaks to the unspoken matriarchs of the family the undeniable blueprint, the start of life. Mothers, Black mothers, possess an energy that can't be explained, only felt. The look a mother gives from afar can gather a room instantly, just as the mother pictured here does. This peace was created with the trust that the viewer would feel their emotions stirred, calling up a few core memories of their own maternal force, leaving them with an embrace, and space to carry forward the honor of their own, as I've done with this painting here.
